About the book and Simulation Hypothesis
Simulation Hypothesis.
It proposes that reality is a simulation (probably a computer simulation).
Some versions rely on the development of a simulated reality, a proposed technology that looks realistic enough to convince its inhabitants. We live in a Simulacrum: A superimposed Artificial Reality.
Matter is just condensed information.
Transreality.
Reality that is beyond ordinary and visible reality.
Hyperreality.
Hyper Reality, a simulated reality (Simulation theory, Matrix), or the inability of consciousness to distinguish reality from a simulation of that reality.
The term was coined by the French sociologist Jean Baudrillard in "Simulacra and Simulation".
Māya.
The concept of Māya in Hinduism does not only symbolize Illusion, it is a much broader concept… It depends on the Vedic scriptures or in what context the word was used.
Sometimes maya means "power, illusion, magic" (as in the Rig Veda), it doesn't mean that the world is unreal, the world is real, but what hides behind reality or its intrinsic cause remains hidden. Invisible nature of things.
Māya then in addition to illusion, could be confusion in our perception, or wrong notion, empirical knowledge as opposed to spiritual knowledge (Vidya).

In quantum terms, an observer influences reality through decoherence, which provides the framework for collapsing probability waves, "largely located in the vicinity of the cognitive model that the observer builds in his or her mind throughout life."
Lanza said:
“The observer is the first cause, the vital force that collapses not only the present, but the cascade of spatiotemporal events that we call the past.
Stephen Hawking was right when he said: "The past, like the future, is undefined and exists only as a spectrum of possibilities."

Regarding the image above: this diagram explains the experience of the human being in the Matrix, each face symbolizes a dimension of being or their reality perspective. Each individual follows their path, some are still in the common “asleep” state, others wake up and realize that this reality is illusory and programmable. We can gain power over this reality by following different methodologies, dominating the dream world by having lucid dreams, the outer dream world is a projection of the inner dream world, transcending dream illusions reveals our intellectual and spiritual state.
Controlling the dream world inwardly also enables us to master the dreaming outwardly. Magic is also a way to gain power and manipulate reality. The eye symbolizes the pineal gland, the third vision, in the higher mind, if we look at our life from an outside-time perspective (directly by our higher-self, intuition) we can see everything in a broader perspective. We can see all the multiple probabilities.
